Dear participants;

Here is some important information regarding the EEUG conference that will be hosted by the Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS).
The conference will be held at the faculty of EEMCS which is located on Mekelweg 4, 2628 CD in Delft. There will be a bus service arranged twice per day for all participants. The bus will depart from the Westcord hotel around 8 am and will bring the participants back to the hotel after the sessions are over.

Participants who are not staying in Westcord hotel should come to the faculty on their own. Please find attached a map of the university campus. The faculty of EEMCS is the green building on the map with number 36. For those who are coming with their own car, it is important to know that they should drive along Rotterdamseweg (see the map) and reach the faculty building from its back side (Feldmannweg) where the car parking is located. Parking within the area of the university campus is free of charge.

How to Travel to Delft

There are very good train connections from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Delft. There are frequent trains from Schiphol to Delft with one changeover in Leiden or Den Haag HS (Holland Spoor). More information about the train time tables can be found on www.ns.nl. The website is also available in English. By filling in the point of departure (“Schiphol”) and point of arrival (“Delft”), the travel times can be obtained. The single fare to Delft Central Station¹ costs € 8.7.

Hotel Westcord is located next to Ikea (and next to A13 highway) just across the city of Delft. It is situated on Olof Palmestraat 2, 2616 LM Delft (http://www.westcordhotels.nl/hotels/Hotel-Delft/153) and it can be easily reached by taxi, bus or car. Taxis stand in front of the station and city bus number 82 stops at bus stop “Station Delft”. The bus stops within walking distance of the hotel at “Oostpoortweg” station. The walking distance between the hotel and the faculty is about two kilometers. For those who would like to walk, a map with one of the routes is below.

¹Make sure to get off at Delft Central Station. Delft has also another station called Delft Zuid. It is located a bit farther and there are no buses or taxis available there.
