Conference Topics

The European EMTP-ATP Conference & EEUG Meeting 2010 seeks papers in all aspects of power system transient simulations using ATP-EMTP program, including but not limited to:

§         Solution methods and algorithms: verifications, comparisons.

§         Development of new simulation tools.

§         Development and implementation of new models:

o        Circuit breakers and electric arc.

o        HV transmission lines, cables, MV distribution systems, covered conductors.

o        Transformers, reactors, electrical machines, wind generators and drives.

o        Renewable energy sources, PV systems.

o        PowerLine Telecommunication systems.

§         Power system studies and measurements:

o        Switching surges, inrush transients, ferroresonance.

o        Direct and induced lightning surges, insulation coordination.

o        Harmonics and power quality.

o        Very fast transients, EMC, EMP, LEMP.

§         Power Electronics, SVC, FACTS and control systems.

§         Power system protection, new algorithms.

§         Using ATP-EMTP in power engineering education.

 

Two types of contribution may be submitted for presentation at the technical sessions: full conference papers (20 minutes presentation) and short conference papers (10 minutes presentation).
